RCHD IMMUNIZATION CLINIC
The Rock County Health Department is conducting an Immunization Clinic in Janesville, at the Faith Lutheran Church, 2116 Mineral Point Ave., from 3 to 5 PM on Thursday, August 28th. Parents need to be present to sign forms before vaccines can be given and please bring a record of your child’s vaccinations. The cost of each vaccine for a person birth through 18 years of age is $5.
52nd ROCK RIVER THRESHEREE
The 52nd Annual Rock River Thresheree is from August 29th to September 1st in rural Edgerton from 8 AM to 5 PM everyday. Admission is $6 for Adults, $1 for Children, and free for kids 12 and under. Featured exhibits include the Wade Bros. 23rd WISCONSIN WORKING DOG TRIALS
The 23rd Annual Wisconsin Working Stock Dog Association’s Sheep Dog Trials will be held August 29th to September 1st in Portage. Come enjoy some family fun and see some amazing dogs in action! Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for kids 16 and under. If you need more information please visit wwsda.org.
OLD WORLD WISCONSIN CIVIL WAR EXPERIENCE

CHARTER FOOD DRIVE
Charter Communications is holding their “Because We Care” Food Drive, starting Monday, August 18th. Charter’s annual food collection program to benefit local food banks throughout Wisconsin will run through the end of 2008. Normally beginning in the fall, this year’s drive is starting in the summer is in response to the effect this year’s floods have had on local food supplies.  Charter will be collecting food donations at all of its 26 offices throughout Wisconsin.  There will also be a period during the drive when Charter customers may leave small donations with technicians who visit their home on service calls.  If you have questions call Jessie Hlad at 715-301-4071.
CROSSROADS KIDS CONNECTION JOB OPENINGS
